Auburn Speed record Car?

Ok, that could explain why i found so little information about it.

It says "Auburn 8-88 speedster in top conditioin, no rust with a full history,auburn speed trials 86,43 miles in 1927. the car has been registered in Minnesota, and then shippwed to germany, and is now in Denmark"
There is also a sign GB (Great Britan) on the car. The color may also be inline with Great Britan(BRG?)

On the side it says: drivers: Wade Morton and Ab Jenkins
Do any of you recognize this car? -Do you know where i can read more about it?
