Very True Randy !! I n reference to tires, I see pictures of Good Year diamond treads , who else did they use?

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
Be of Good Cheer

I have been buying "cases" for Optima 6VRed Tops - They can be a tight fit in an original Auburn Battery holder (Curt supplied me a reproduction "larger/deeper" bracket, but not something at the time that he commonly had). And, keep in mind that Optima's are great but equally can be a poor choice for certain types of usage = ex. cars that get started repeatedly and driven little, getting a freshly restored car in tune (again frequent starts, excessive turning them over, and .....), and .....
There are a couple of suppliers and most with shipping run 85.00 to $125.00

John: Does the case have a reproduction manufacturer brand on it?
BTW, I found that Optima batteries do not like to be quick-charged. They get hot and take no charge

Mark, they are just a black case, but they do have some detail to them and you can pick-up some sort of interesting battery decal via ebay or ... and install (ie they have a flat spot without detail that is perfect for an decal).
