It is not a speedter. He had all the running gear and needed a phaeton body which he now has. I don't think he is a member of ACD.

Is this the car that was owned by les Deiz in Hamilton for many years? Les restored the motor in the boatail in Auckland. I did the body resto for the same boatail. I now live in Melbourne and are currently restoring my own 1929 890 boatail. I wish you all the best.

Dean

Hello Lynnx. My name is Jon Staatz from Tallebudgera on the Gold Coast Queensland. I am restoring a 1936 852 s/c phaeton. At this stage all the mechanicals have been done, the chassis and body sandblasted and painted.I am now slowly putting all the bits and pieces back together!
Id be interested in hearing about your car

We are restoring a 1935 851 Phaeton (the only one in New Zealand, we think).

Any information or photos regarding hood arrangements would be useful and we would like to contact anybody with a similar car.
