Hi Jonathan, thanks for the comments on the 8-95 project.
Yes the car behind mine is indeed a speedster...I can't remember if it's a 28 or 29 car, but I'll find out for you when I next see the car.

Thankyou very much for taking the time to put these photos up. I am about to restore my 4-44 Roadster and the detail in the images for the woodwork is priceless to me. (and no doubt to a lot of people in the same boat). So thankyou. :

Hi Bruce, happy to help with the photos. The wooden top is just really the template and now that we have everything working again, we are going to use the template to make the final top.

It's a long process, but we are getting there.

Cheers

Hi Peter - is your chassis black?? I think I can spy it from your photographs. What colour are you going to do front & rear bumper bars? I have studied several photographs and most appear to be black with silver/chrome caps. Just deciding on how to go with my 120. cheers

Hi Jason, yes the chassis is black and the bumper bars will be black with the silver/chrome caps...I think these can be bought new from the Auburn Museum.

I think all numbers were black rather than body colour...I might be wrong. But as I'm going to pain the car black and red the numbers will stay black.

I should be able to post more updates soon...I need to chase Larry to see where he is with the project.

Cheers
