The Auburn Six cylinder cars have a 4 3/4 bolt pattern.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

As you say that a 6 and 8 cyl rear ends only have different axles and hubs
-does that mean that the 6-cyl has 5 inch wheel bolt diameter ?
- I know that the 8-cyl has 5.5 inch like the older Fords 40-48.
It would be nice to know - despite all info I have I have not seen it anywhere. There is a Columbia for sale here and it has the 5 inch diameter type. /Jan L

In 1934 - 1936 dual ratios were available in both 6 and 8 cylinder cars.
The ratio that came in it from Columbia is stamped in the front side of the carrier housing along with the assembly date. 6 & 8 dual ratios are exactly the same except for the axles and brake backing plates.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Brian,

8-cylinder models for '32-'33, six-and-eight-cylinder models for '34-36.
