The Lycoming sign that you have came from Lycoming in Williamsport, PA that manufactured Sewing machines, Bicycles, etc before 1900 and started manufacturing automotive engines right after the turn of the century. Later became part of the Cord empire and produced the ACD car engines. Today Lycoming in Williamsport, PA produces aircraft engines for general aviation.

I have a 4", oval, blue aluminum plate with "Power by Lycoming" on it. Does anyone know what it is or where it came from?
