This is just a comment in general for posters. It helps to know the posters location. If you live in CA. for example and someone recomends a plater in Delaware it might not be real helpful.

I recently purchased a California Custom project that has been "in work" for 40 plus years. It has a well built custom chassis, the body is mounted and complete, and it runs and drives. I have the original CCC Assembly Manual which is very general and somewhat vague. Is there a source somewhere for more detailed information on locating components? Right now I am trying to find an accurate dimension for mounting the headlights. (I am trying to develop a template using pictures off the internet...kind of crude).I built a Glen Pray replica decades ago, so I understand the need for creativity! Also does anyone have a recommendation for a good polisher/plater to send the trim parts to while I am painting it? Any recommendations on parts sources? Thanks in advance!
