There was a fellow in SD that bought 8 pistons for a 35 cabriolet . One was too tall , he never got a refund. 15 years ago A lady in the UK was charged over a grand for shipping pistons and valves. No refund.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

It was a disaster dealing with Egge. The first set of pistons had the gudgeon pin holes in the wrong location being lower down 1/4". The heads could NOT be fitted.
The second set of pistons had loose gudgeon pins and had to be replaced with oversize pins. No apologies of any kind, business as usual. Egge's quality control and commitment to supplying a good product leaves a lot to be desired.
I would recommend that Egge only supplies the Russian Army, at least the Ukranians would have the benefit.

Egge has had quality control for several years. A fellow member from Australia got a set of pistons for his 810 Cord. They were too tall and hit the heads causing non rotation. Shipping fees and several calls finally Terry got his pistons about 1 year late. They moved locations too. I do not recommend them. Sadly they are maybe 3 miles from my home and shop....

You might try Ross Pistons in Ca. I know they make pistons for the Duesenberg.

Anyone know where to source piston rings for Lycoming engines? Trying to save the old pistons. It's an 8 cylinder engine with 3.08" bore...
