The ACD Club is rolling out a new online membership system. All ACD Club Members should have receivied an email with enrollment instructions. You will use your email address as your login, and select a new password. This account will be used to renew your membership, update membership information, and make changes to your membership record.


This account is NOT THE SAME as your current account which you use to access the ACD Website Forums. Please continue to log into the Forums with the same username and password as you have always used. In the future we may consolidate the two accounts.

If I were you Carguy32, I would post the plate out on the AACA website under general discussion. There is a broad spectrum of collectors that will give you feedback.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

Joel, where in the world can you have a reproduction number plate made for the sum of $35 US ??????????
I made up a number plate topper which cost around $35 for the engraving and aluminium. I had to finish hand shaping it, painting the letters and drilling the holes.
As my Cord was originally sold in Canada I managed to get a set of period plates from a collector for $120 including postage.

Thanks Joel, it's handy to have contacts like these for future reference.
We don't have novelty number plate manufacturers in Australia, technically we are only allowed to have the current number plates on any vehicle however I have not been stopped from displaying the 1936 Canadian plates as an extra. Perhaps they have been mesmerised by the Cord's appearance?
