I found a 35/36 radiator - that is why the 34 is in the corner of the garage

Use the 34 core & a 35-36 core support , then lower the bottom mount bracket.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

The radiator sheetmetal frame is much wider on a 35-36. Did you cut that down to size?

A 34 radiator in a 35/36 - lets just say GRIEF, GRIEF, and more GRIEF until I figured that one out.

Thanks Craig ! It has been my experience the 1/2 inch can be taken up in the lower mounting bracket ; albeit it not easily.

I went and measured a 850 and 851 radiators. As Curt said they are very close. Overall height measured at rear center of radiator 850-28 1/2" 851-28" ( they might be slightly taller as there is a little hump in center of top tank. Cores are 850 22 3/4" high 851- 22" high both are 19" wide x 3 1/2" thick. 850 picture attached

I did that conversion once. I recollect that the width of a 850Y radiator is the same as a 851-2. I was able to alter the lower tank and the mount to the frame. The hood to fit well.

Anybody know the overall dimensions of a 34 Auburn radiator (8 cyl). The shroud is much narrower than an 851.
Appears to be 26" tall and 18" wide. I have a 36 Auburn radiator, but it is much wider and taller
