Along these same lines. When I had my rad. recored I told the shop to not have the rad. any taller than the orig. rad. They had it 1/4" taller and had to redo. it because it screwed up hood fit. Keep this in mind with rad. work.

Craig, as John indicated, it is all about fitting the hood. Very often they are a different thickness on either side.

Thanks John, that's helpful I was wondering if they were thick enough to provide any vibration dampening. I guess not.

Mine are of the same material as the body mounts and I believe more thin -- then we had to play with thickness to get nice hood fit. I have no idea what they were originally made of though.

What do the radiator pads between radiator base and frame look like, are they rubber and how thick? They are part no. H1-155 pad core frame not same as body pad/webbing.
