Randy,

My Data Plate shows serial number 1972 (with an A to the far right); engine number OC1128 (the O is hard to read... it could be at G)
I would guess that this car was originally sold in Tacoma, Washington or nearby

Thanks... it's a pretty complete car. I've had it since 1965 and as you said, I can't imagine that anyone before me would have had any motivation to modify the car (in fact, the only modification to the car was it's conversion to a chicken coop... that's how it was when I bought the thing years ago. It's a very enjoyable project.

Yes, your data plate will be the one on the cowl with such as engine number and serial number stamped on it (that there should be a relation to the frame number, but I only know the secret decoder ring stuff for such for 34-36). If you replace the tag in restoration you will want to attach the original tag to one of the wooden chassis rails under carpet or on the cowl pad (if not showing the car for awards) - ie keep the tag attached to the car somewhere.

As to a list, it is doubtful any exists.

Randy Ema may have some history on your particular car (or he may not - just depends if he has ever asked or someone gave him such).

I doubt there is much concern about originality of a Salon Sedan (you have to have a near complete car to achieve restoration of one as parts are pretty near unobtainium and people usually do not "fake" sedans like they would a boattail).

Is the Data Plate the same thing as the tag that contains the serial number? Can someone provide a complete list of serial numbers that collectively determine the originality of the car?

I'm presently restoring a 1933 8-105 Salon Sedan, number 1972
