Thanks Mike.

There was a picture in there of my parents circa 1968 which I foolishly did not save off somewhere. I'll reach out to the museum.

Jim Brockman archive also no longer available. I understand the Club is trying to get them on again. Jim Brockman archives are available from the ACD Museum I understand. I scanned them originally for this site several years ago. I would guess the Museum probably has better equipment available than I did.

It has been a while since I've poked around the archive. The link is no longer work. Are the scan safe and sound somewhere else?

Never before has a collection been so big, or of such value to ACD enthusiasts. To do it justice, we had to create a Forum for each catagory of the Jim Brockman Collection.

These photos show the cars as they were. As they appeared many years ago. The photos show the people, the places and the emotions that were stirred by the beauty of the Auburns, Cords, and Duesenbergs.

Before you begin, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1) These photos were scanned one by one with great care by Mike Huffman. We have elected to present these photos in their original size. That means they can be massive! It can take awhile to download each one. We kept the original size, so that you have the ability to print the best possible copy of each photo.

We suggest that you turn on AUTOMATIC IMAGE SIZING in Internet Explorer. This option can be found under TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > ADVANCED. Scroll down to MULTIMEDIA and put a check mark next to ENABLE AUTOMATIC IMAGE RESIZING.

You can view the photos, and when you RIGHT-CLICK on a photo to save it, your copy will be in the original size!

2) You will want to share your comments about the photos with others. Keep your comments in this special Jim Brockman Collection forum. Create a NEW TOPIC for each photo you want to discuss. Refer to the photo name. Then otheres can reply to your comments. We expect to learn alot about these automobiles, as viewers discover their old cars from years gone by.

ACD PARADE ARCHIVE

Enjoy! And leave plenty of comments. Don't forget to start a NEW TOPIC for each new photo that you want to discuss.
