Coming early? The Gruene River Grill has Happy Hour before 7:00 pm

Friday, April 25
Tour of Schlitterbahn Waterpark, voted the World’s Number One Waterpark by the Travel Channel for the last 10 or more years. Lunch at Adobe Verde in Gruene. There are Antique shops, artisan shops, gift shops, an old country store, restaurants and of course Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas. In the evening we go to the Circle Arts Theatre in Landa Park. This is their 40th year of productions. We will be seeing “Driving Miss Daisy”.

Saturday, April 26
Driving the back roads we to get to the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History, just outside Rosanky. (CTMAH was started by Dick Burdick, who is a member of ACD. A couple of years ago Dick and some other investors bought the ‘Great Race’ and ‘Great Race Texas’.) Evening we will be going to the Grist Mill for dinner.
