Oil Pressure Regulator was created by Neal Ziff
On my '30 8-95 I'm not getting any oil pressure reading on the gauge so I removed the oil pressure regulator to clean it out and check for problems, etc. I was able to take off just about everything, except the plunger within. In its day they must have had a problem here as the cylindrical shaped air chamber on top has been brazed on instead of just screwed in. So, I can't access the plunger from the top. I can see it from the bottom after I removed the large plug that is the base for the springs. Can I remove the plunger from the bottom? Does anyone have a schematic for this part?
I also plan on draining the oil and removing and checking the oil pump. Any suggestions regarding this would also be appreciated.
Thanks, Neal
