I finally decided to go ahead and take the radiator out of my car. It requires removing a dozen bolts from the front fender area, two nuts that hold the radiator to the frame, and four bolts that hold the cowl to the radiator. Drain out the coolant and remove two rubber hoses. Old hoses would probably need to be cut out. Actually, a pretty simple process. Reassembly will most likely be more difficult, I presume. An Auburn looks pretty sad without it's cowl, doesn't it?

I'm thinking about changing-out the radiator in my Auburn cabriolet. I want to install a "honeycomb" style radiator. Has anyone done this on a finished car? How difficult is it? What steps have to be taken?
I don't want to wreck the car in the process, so I thought I'd ask first.
