When the Auburn Automobile Company knew it would not be able to deliver the first Cord 810's on time to customers, it did what any company would do.
It tried to appease the dissapointed customers by delivering to them a bronze model Cord sedan on a marble base. This token was supposed to keep the customers happy until their real cars arrived. It is not known whether it succeeded.
This model is courtesy of Auburn/Cord Parts in Wellington, Kansas.
