I thought the first car had an oval, white, blue and persimmon ACD logo above the S/C lettering. :~)

One lucky big black Chow dog riding shotgun in another unknown car.

Hello all.This car sn# 35540 is presently in S Carolina Having been in Maryland and Virginia most of its life . The badge above the sc emblem is a Lycoming air intake for an airplane, or a powered by Lycoming badge . Hope this helps Randy

Don't have any specifics on that car, but Randy Ema or Bruce Woodson would both be good people to try to contact on a virginia car.

Also noticed the weird emblem above the supercharged script. Also think the park light is probably late 30's chevrolet.

Let us know what you find out. These old pictures are great to find out the history on.

On a quick glance I did not notice that the hull was crushed. Interesting reflection in the fender created the illusion of an axle.

This is a very similar car with clue,"Bridgehampton- 1953" penciled on back.

I can see the right rear fender,the chrome stone guard is clearly visible. and the crumpled boat tail.

Any info on this 1940-1960 picture? Virgina license plate 947-572 1946 sticker below plate you cannot see in scan. It also seems to be missing the right rear fender , axle exposed? and a crumpled rear 1/4?
