Great News! Louis Chenot, who built the outstanding Duesenberg scale model is bringing it to Auburn this Labor Day Weekend! This car actually runs.
Everything works. There's even 5-40 motor oil in it. All lights work as do the brakes. This is an unbelievable project. At the bottom of this post there is a link to a YouTube video of the engine running.

Louis Chenot at Keels & Wheels in Houston on May 5th, 2012.

Hi,

I recall seeing this car before, in process, perhaps at the NAMES exhibition in Toledo, OH (?). It is INCREDIBLE!

Distant Club members: this outstanding miracle of engineering is worth crossing the globe to see in person. You will never ever see anything to compare to it. Hop a plane and come to Auburn!

It has been to Auburn twice that I remember - once as the chassis and the second time completed for the Year of the Duesenberg two years ago. It is always nice to see it again. It is probably better-built than the actual Duesenbergs were back in 1929.

One year, wasn't it just over the bridge in the park on the right hand side? I thought I took a photo of it; however most of the ACD photos have been removed except for 2011.

The software is not supposed to be archiving any of the forums. What specifically is missing?
