Auburn 2011 - John Bools Broil[/url:p8o7gc40]
A small party held for the Hoosier Tour folks put on by John Bools in an alley somewhere deep in Auburn Territory. See photos of ACD Cars, food, goofiness &amp; the Gnomes (a soon to be new chapter in the ACD Club).

Auburn 2011 - Hoosier Kickoff[/url:p8o7gc40]
The official cookoff... um... kickoff for the Hoosier Tour. A time for fellowship, EATING and a brief meeting on the do's and don't's and the what-nots and the what-haves. This year it was held at the Sinclair Gas Station on the North end of town. A great place to stop and get a photo or 2.

Auburn 2011 - Hoosier Tour / Cord Convoy returns to Auburn[/url:p8o7gc40]
After a few days of "touring" around the area, the Hoosier Tour returns to Auburn. Usually ocurring a little around noon on my way back to work from lunch. I tend to always get stopped for this. Also this year the Cord Convoy met them at the Auburn Airport and escorted them back to the Museums along with the Auburn and State Police.

Auburn 2011 - Eckhart Park[/url:p8o7gc40]
If you haven't never been to the "Auburn Reunion" you reall treally need to come. This is the place - the Eckhart Park on Saturday morning... see the cars upfront and personal. Mingle with the cars, borrow a cold drink from Mike Dube's cooler <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> and stop and talk to other members.

Auburn 2011 - Parade of People?[/url:p8o7gc40]
Yep... people and a few ACD Cars found parked along the road. When one travels in a rumble seat on a L-29 Cord there aren't that many photos to take of ACD Cars... and if that person has a camera in their hand, might as well use it on something...... the folks along the parade route. Nothing like remembering the day with folks waving, snapping photos and smiling at your car.

You'll notice there aren't any Cords in this gallery. Why? Well, I was riding in an L-29 Cord, which were behind the "other" Cords. So... it's hard to take photos of cars that I didn't get to see. But you'll find a few Auburns and Duesenbergs if you like those to makes.

I grouped all the photos taken on 9th street and there abouts in this gallery. It includes a bit of the cruise-in on Friday night and the small one that occurred on Saturday night (mainly photos of the Galaxie ). But take a few minutes to see a few cars parked in front of the Auburn Hotel, glance at some of the members and town folks drooling on the cars or eating Martha's Popcorn. ** also contains TWO photos taken at the Registration Tent at the Museum on Thursday afternoon

We went out to the auction park for a bit to look around and see if anything was happening. You'll find just a few photos of the ACD cars we found and the Galaxie's that were out there. You do realize if I ever run for the board (which I won't) I'll vote to change it to the ACD and FG Club <!-- s:lol: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_lol.gif" alt=":lol:" title="Laughing" /><!-- s:lol: -->
