For their four A.C.D. Co. representatives, they sure picked the cream of the crop.

Nice to see the Collings Foundation mentioned here. I actually flew the B24 about 10 years ago. I took off from Bracket Field in San Dimas Ca and flew out to Chino Planes of Fame field in Chino Ca. Once overhead there two P51 Mustangs came up in front of me. I was escorted along for some time. Then they tipped their wings to me and pushed the throttles forwards disappearing overhead. Made me feel like being over Germany in 1944... I have been up in the foundations Liberater twice. Since 9-11 we can't pilot any of the planes any longer and thats a crime. Such great pieces of flying history....

These majestic airplanes, B24 Liberator, B-17 Flying Fortress, and a P-51 Mustang, will be flying locally. They advertised their web site,
www.cfdn.org
. They are doing some wonderful work keeping these planes flying. They also have an auto collection in Massachusetts that has four ACD cars.
