Hi Chris, you talked about white with avocado inside, which i argee is not my taste either, but the car is actualy IVORY with avocado, which goes well together in my eyes but taste is something very individual and will allways be something people discuss whithout getting to a point.

Best regards Philipp <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

Presented for you this evening, the story of one Glenn Pray, who found himself building a fiberglass-bodied sports car in a small Oklahoma town. Little did he know that the accuracy would be enough that the car could be mistaken for an original, and send ACD Club members into a place known only...as the Twilight Zone.

Heh.

Don't think that's the King's Delahaye, though. This is:

I love that thing. Big, gaudy, baroque...everything I enjoy in a car.

We used to think Avocado Green and Harvest Gold were the cats pajamas.
Delahaye. The newspaper mentions Rod Serling of Twilight Zone fame. Is that Auburn still around?

I don't know much about Hassan II's automotive tastes, but his father had a Franay-bodied Delahaye and the DeSoto Adventurer II. I'm not sure I'd want a car that was white with "avocado green" upholstery, but...hey, it was the Sixties! Our late neighbor had a 1969 Pontiac that was...white with avocado green upholstery.

No evidence of the Moroccan monarchy ever having owned an original ACD product, at least in anything I've read.

Hi Cris,
I did a google search to see if the Casablanca King or the Pray Speedster may still around, no luck, but the king seemd to have a checkered past.
