Hi Chris, I think the whereabouts of great cars depends at least to a certain extent on the exchange rate of Dollar vs. Euro vs. Rubel vs. Yen ; and soon China will be in the game, too.

In 2002 I took part in a rally here in Austria, where they had also 5 (five) supercharged Mercedes of the old Porsche-designed K/S/SSK-series from the late Twenties !

Hello Peter!
Nice to know the munich owner. The ACD Club website joins people together! Did you have a look at our website of ASC? There are links to our bavarian section.

Hello Dirk,

here is another ACD member from Germany. I live in Munich and bought a 1927 Auburn 6-66- A Open Tourer. It was exported to Australia in 1927 and came to Germany in 2007. I?m still doing a lot of work to get it into good driving conditions.
So now you know 4 Germans owning Auburns.
Creating an Auburn meeting in Germany would be a great idea.
After I found out how to post pictures here, I`ll do so

For longer hoods

Peter

Did you have his email? It would be great to meet other Auburn owner. The other Auburnowner from Kiel wants to create an Auburn-Meeting in Germany.

Dirk, you might want to contact Helmut Huber in Austria. He drives his 1929 Auburn Speedster all over Europe.

Thank you :D
I'll post a new picture from the side. We have nice weather in germany. Next days I'll shot some pics with my new Nikon. I have contact to three other Auburn Owner in Germany. One 8-125 Sedan in Kiel and one 8-98A Phaeton in Berlin. The third is in the near of Cologne. I#m very happy to read every Day News at this forum. Germany is far away from US. So I can find Parts at Ebay.com and get informations at the ACD Forum. Last Year I bought Horns over an ACD-Member. Great handwork.

Only in Germany...a local car show where two 540Ks show up...some people have all the luck.

Post a full picture of the Auburn, from what I can see it's beautiful.

Auburn in good old Germany was created by tresenreiter
Three years ago I bought my 1931 8-98A via Internet in Germany. Since this time I spend some beautiful moments with my Sedan. For three years I participate our Vintage-Car-Rallies from the "Allgemeiner Schnauferl-Club" est. 1900 - the oldest Vintage Car Club in the World. The Performance of the straight-Eight is very good. I'm very happy about this beauty. On the following picture you can see my Auburn in front of an Bentley 3 1/2 and two 540K Mercedes. The dimension of the hood is great! Other pics are on our Homepage: www.schnauferlclub.com . Please have a look.

Greetings from Hamburg
Dirk
