Our host, Dick (The Great Race) Burdick owns it. He has a few other Duesenbergs in his museum too.

Who brought the Duesenberg Tourster (replica body)? I was wondering where it went after the McCall auction.

Also, remember, Bill, Brad's had more years in a Cord than you!

Mini-Meet Chairperson, Sheri Haynes put on a great show. The meet took place in New Braunfels Texas during April 25-27, 2008.

The participants toured the Central Texas Museum of Automotive History in one of the most out-of-the-way locations imaginable: Rosanky, Texas.

Dick also owns the Great Race and showed us lots of memorabilia. Click below for all of the pictures. See you next year!

Bill Hummel and George Waken turn their hats around and prepare for the 70-mile race back to New Braunfels.
Brad Waken easily won the race with an original Lycoming S/C engine.
Speed averaged 75-mph through back roads and then Interstate 10.
