I think this is a great comic book and it even mentions the ACD Club. I think I was about eight when I got this and the hotwheels car. That same year I got a copy of Ralph Stein's book The American Automobile. Hmmm...I wonder where the ACD fascination came from?

I love the shadowy figure of the Cord inside the garage. Would make an awesome painting.

Where can I get one of these comics? I would love to have one. I just love the way the Cord looks in the story and what a barn find!!!! I think that this story is for the older crowed because we just go nuts for story's like this. Like the book, The Cobra in the barn, and others.

I can't wait to dig into the floor boards of our Cord and find the gold ingots hidden within. I am sure if they were there though they would have melted away in the fire along with the 50 pounds of lead that we've found pooled up in places. Thanks for sharing this.

Great book, especially pages 129-133. <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt=":wink:" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
