Bring it with the tranny cover off. Two reasons:
1. You may have to help it shift.
2. (More important) People LOVE to watch the gearshift in action!

The deadline to the Texas Mini-meet is nearing. I did rebuild a winch
<to get it on the trailer> I picked up for fifty bucks at a flea mkt.
This "Cordem" should pull the Cord onto
the new car hauler. Rebuilt
the the armature, field coils and bearings, new 1/4 in. wirerope.
There was no wiring, just a housing, when I got it, but it now pulls
like crazy.
Wiring the forward- reverse 110 double pole double
throw switch is a nightmare, if you need the schematic for the
wiring, I figured out how to wire the 110v. reversing electric
motor correctly
The funny thing is the name for the winch is "Cordem".
They are still in business with a website www.cordem.com .
New, they cost more than the trailer.
It should pull the Cord up on the trailer or may rip the
axle off doing it!
Just long enough extension cord to the
hotel and it should lower and raise the vehicle. Even if the
Cord was not running I could rescue it.
I have a motorized 12v. DC- 110 AC converter that will
need rebuilding. Then I can operate the 110 motor with
the tow vehicle battery
All the Cord needs to run is fluids, oil, gas, coolant, gear oil,
topped off and it should drive up onto the car carrier its
own power. Less than a week off so I will need
heavenly intervention.
Owning an ACD car is one of the most rewarding challenges
I have ever attempted.
Please be patient, I know
patience < & $ > are the most difficult part of
preserving an ACD car for the future generations.

Well, are you bringing it to the meet? We don't care if you trailer it. Or even leave it on the trailer....

Car looks good.
That TLC is going to pay off.
She going to make it to the Texas meet.? Give you a chance to brag on her. I'd certainly would like to see it up close
Regards
