I would like to see the memo to the revelation that the Cord car was born on the 8th month and the 10th day(810). I guess what your saying to my theory is that it was just a coincidence that what I speculated did not happen, can you prove me wrong.

Sneak preview tidbit from CORD COMPLETE: The first memo we have where the car is referred to as the Model 810 rather than E-294 or E-306 is dated August 10, 1935. (Get it?)

Joel my good friend, I love you ! I am high on life and I have had this idea when I was looking for a phone # for my Milford residence in 1988 and I looked to the rotary to see what numbers had spelled CORD, there it was and my phone is 296-2673.

Here is a possible scenario how the Cord 810 came to be. EL was sitting at his desk when the question was asked " what do we call the front drive car its a baby Duesenberg one exclaimed". While El was fielding this question he looked to his rotary phone looked to the dial to find out that 2673 spelled C-O-R-D, 2+6=8 and 7+3=10 in other words 810. I think this has merit, or am I all wet or do you think it could have happened this way?

When the one hundredth arrives, if I aint pushing up daisies, I will be 85.
One note, whoever gets my car after my departure, the good car 1752a, may finally finish it, it out did me and the several owners before me.

Joshs #4,2307a, At 50k, it seems like a bargain. There is a little too much chrome for me, knobs, window trims, small stuff.

Be happy with what you have. If you spend your life looking for greener pastures, you may find yourself to old to climb the fence.

If 82... I'll push you around in a wheelchair or pull you behind a cord in a wheelchair, if needed.

If in the ashtray.... I tend to clean ashtrays, so you better hope that you aren't ashes in my vehicle at the time.

Does this mean that discrimination may have prevented Amelia Earhart from entering this auditorium?

Might the event operators would have exempted her as she was qualified to own a beautiful example? :D

Would the purchase a vehicle of this type be of suffrage?

Only to be overshadowed by round the world solo flights? :D

She was something to ponder.

On this date in 1935 the Cord 810 was introduced at the National Automobile Shows in New York City and Los Angeles. And the rest is history. . .
