Did you ever see a dream walking?
Well, I did!
Did you ever hear a dream talking?
Well, I did!

Did you ever have a dream thrill you
with "Will you be mine?"
Oh it's so grand
and it's too, too divine.
Did you ever see a dream dancing?
Well, I did!
Did you ever see a dream romancing?
Well, I did!

Did you ever find heaven right in your arms,
saying I love you, I do?
Well, the dream that was walkin'
and the dream that was talkin'
and the heaven in my arms was you.

(Are these are the lyrics to "Did you ever see a dream walking" on the Cord calendar you mentioned?)
Eddie Duchin, songwriter

The Cord certainly is a divine, grand, dream, Automobile.

Wow. :D Maybe someone can suggest making that the Club oath or something? :D

I always associate the song "Did You Ever See A Dream Walking?" with Cords, since I saw them paired up on a car calendar from the early 1990s.

Wilson Poetry was created by balinwire
A ACD club member, James E. Wilson, in the fifties, compiled a pamphlet pertaining to Cord history and lore.

Here is the introduction page "The Classic Cord Reveals" by James E. Wilson, Could he have have written the poem? A deep selection of words by a dedicated ACD preservationist.
