I am restoring a 1931 3 window Coupe. It is a very basic model with the only option being the wire knock off wheels. It has painted headlamp and cowl lamp buckets. Black paint with a green thin pinstripe.
Thank you,
Glenn

Hi
My name is Nick Bauer. I have a 1931 8-98-A 3 window Custom coupe. Side mounts, Steamer trunk, inside clock in mirror, Speed lights, Special paint color and more. Interesting well documented History with pictures back to 1935 on mine with title records on prior owners for her. Seen on page 13 of the car spotters guide top right corner.
My face book address is Nick.Bauer.5623 You could have a look at mine to see if this is the car you were asking about as to the model in a 1931. If yours is the same it would be # 2 that I have found in my 11 years of looking including mine. The other 2 31s listed in our club directory are sedan type 5 window 2 doors. Let me know on face book or E Mail Me at <a href="mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url] P/S I do have some spare Parts too. :)

Auburn 1931 8-98A was created by Bud
We have a 1931 Auburn 8-98A Cus Coupe. The car was first sold July 14, 1932.
First purchaser was in San Francisco, Calif.

My family purchased the car in 1966 and is garage kept.

This is the only Custom Coupe of this kind that we can find.

The Auburn museum's only reply, "What a beautiful car". No other information included.

Any information or suggestions about the 8-98A would be appreciated.
