What some need to remember, so that it doesn't happen again is that this car when Glen brought it to Auburn, caused a firestorm of fighting among the "purists" and Glen, at the time he OWNED the name Duesenberg and he could damn well call it whatever he wanted to. The carping was so bad that Glen was deeply hurt, and as I recall didn't return for a number of years. We should all remember this so when a group within the club tries to dictate what the club is for everyone members stand up.

My favorite comment came from an ACD friend who said, "Oooh, I can't wait for them to explore the 'secret back room' I've been in 100 times."

Interesting. Thanks Randy.

The American Pickers episode only showed glimpses of the car in the background, wish they had shown more of it. Looks like a neat car.

It had a FG replica body that Glenn built. We saw it in the works in a 1991 visit to The Factory.

A few years ago, Glen brought a D to Auburn with a Lycoming V12 engine

Anyone know the specifics on the Duesenberg in the segment? No doubt a replica? The hood is open on the car, you can tell its not a J but it looks like an early motor like maybe a Lincoln or Cadillac.

It was interesting to watch, thanks for the information.

Merry Christmas!
I was watching the American Pickers last night on tv. They visited Glen Prays' business. His son showed some of the cars and rows of ACD parts.
