There is a couple ACD cars hanging around in the background. I'm sure some one can ID the Duesenberg.

Hi Mike,

the Duesenberg looks like a J(N) Rollston Berline,

Car 2587, J-500, (former original engine J-559) ?

Cheers

Matt

Car 2587 is the Bill Robinson JN with hard top, Petersen Museum. I don't know what car this one is but I'll take a guess...J586/2611. That's based on the bullet headlights and skirted fenders visible in the photo.

Hello,

car 2587 has chrome-plated bullet headlights, skirted fenders and a hardtop, covered with light brown leather (or leatherette) that makes the top look like a top of a convertible.

Here a some photos of 2587 http://www.duesey2208.com/Datasheets/Mo ... rm2587.htm

It looks to me like that 2587 is the Duesey at the Crosley photo, car 2611 has a different mounting of the screenwhipers (at the bottom of the screen) and a different (not standard) enginehood (side) design, than the car on the ebay photo.

Here is a photo of 2611 http://www.duesey2208.com/Datasheets/Mo ... rm2611.htm

I stand corrected. Looking at the photo you just sent I would agree its probably 2587. Wonder what its doing in Palmdale?
