That accually looks like something that the Blastoline Bro's would build. It looks like the tank engined car that Jay Leno has. It is pretty for an unusual car. Kim

Wow! It looks like Ralph Cook was one of the Chicago-area comics. The then 20 year old (in 1934) Tremulis would have been hanging around the downtown dealerships at that time, sketching the cars at Stutz and Duesenberg. The Tremulis' were ushers at Chicago's Oriental Theater, and had great stories of Jimmy Durante including Alex's brother, Dick, in his show. So it makes sense that this car crossed paths and captivated the young Alex...

Thanks, again! My ACD dues are in the mail!!!

This car was built by Vaudeville star Ralph Cook in 1932/33. It still exists but I'm not sure where.

I don't know what it is, but I would have ordered one. (What can I say, I loved Batmobiles as a kid.)

Call me crazy but if you get rid of all the extra metal around the front end, it looks like the Burden built by Harry Miller.

OK, here's another unknown car and driver. Again, original photos from Alex Tremulis' collection. Looks to be too short a wheelbase for ACD, but appears to be Meteor-inspired. This is just too unique to be unknown. Any ideas???
