So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Season's Greetings from the ACD Club, 1956 was created by Chris Summers
This comes from the Derus family pictures. Josh Malks supplied the following identification.
It was taken in Avon, Pennsylvania. The L-29 belonged to Tom Landreth; the Auburn to Jerry Whitaker; the Cord to Dr Anthony Simeone; and the Duesy to Al Thurn. A 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 print was mailed to ACD Club members with their mimeographed December 1956 issue as a Christmas gift. Space was provided on a page where the photo could be attached.
Does anyone know the current owners of the Landreth or Whitaker Auburns? One of Dr. Simeone's Cords is in his son's museum in PA, but that car is a cabriolet. The Duesenberg is Murphy Convertible Coupe J-401 / 2340.
