Hi! Besides driving my phaeton everywhere, I also like boat rides. I will be riding on the QM2 for the 9th and 10th time in a short time. Thus I get lots of mail from Cunard. To my delight I received a promo e-mail from Cunard talking about the Art Work that will be visible after launching the new Queen Elizabeth in the next few weeks. Whee! If you look at the large mural, devoted to Art Deco, you will see a Cord phaeton in the detail.! I guess I will have to book a trip on board to view it close-up. Remember the stage floor in the original productions of Cats? I never found out how come they had the front clip of a Cord painted on the floor! Saw it about 30 times in about 6 different productions, always there! Wish I had photographed it. You can probably view the painting on Cunard's web site.
