Replied by Auburn/Cord Parts on topic "VIN" Plate Location
Michael-

The VIN Plate as you call it is located on the main body crossmember at the base of the front seat on the passenger side. It is an aluminum plate approximately 2" by 3" with the serial number stamped on it. The engine number should be found on a brass plate near the fuel pump if you need that. Many states use the engine number for title purposes.

Dear ACD members, I just purchased a 1931 Auburn 898-A last week. Can't locate the VIN to get license plates. Where is it located? Advice much appreciated. MA <a href="mailto:[email protected]][email protected][/url]
