There's a photo of the Auburn/Cord assembly line in Connersville on my website at [url:1tmvqr3v]http://www.automaven.com/Cord_History/Chapter_2/chapter_2.htm[/url:1tmvqr3v].

Scroll down to December 1935-January 1936 and click on the "assembly line" link.

Thanks for all the information on the ACD cars , well since there were not any factories so to speak I was looking for photo's of the cars in building stages. With the workers from the 20' and 30's assembling the cars. A bare chassis and lots of parts lying around ready to go on when the time came. Like the photos I have on this page of Cartercars.

thanks again Josh

Let's get clear, Randy.

1. There never was such a thing as an "A-C-D factory".

2. In the 1930s, generally speaking:

- Cord L-29s were built in the building that is now the NATMUS museum in Auburn IN.
- Cord 810s and 812s were built at Central Manufacturing Company in Connersville IN.
- Auburns were built in Connersville too.
- Duesenberg chassis were built in Indianapolis IN. Coachwork was put on all over the country.

Now what did you want photos of? :-)

I was wondering if anyone here had or seen any photos of the ACD factory? I am in search of as many as possible for my site. Thanks for your help.
