I don't know how the face got in there, should indicate that the crankshaft oil line plug uses 8.

402 is correct for the head gasket. Others given in a 1940 Victor catalog are; esxhaust manifold 8298 (uses 2), exhaust pipe flange 6044, crankshaft oil line plug 2068 (uses 8), and crankcase oil line plug 2101.
They replaced part no's A-134, A-525, A-3002, `1423, ans A-121, respectively.

Model A Duesenberg Engine Gasket numbers was created by hessacres
Anyone have a reference book that can help me determine the Victor, McCord,, Fitzgerald (or any others) gasket part numbers for Model A Duesenberg Engine. A man came up to me at a car show and offered to check his stash of old gaskets if I knew the part number. I believe the Victor head gasket is 402.

Or if you have a original gasket that you know belongs to a A Duesenberg a photograph would also be helpful.
