Hello,

here is a link to that auction

RM offers J-528 at its Pebble Beach auction.

Does anybody already read the cars history summary on the RM auction site?

Especially this part <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: --> <em>"Bob Roller, the sole survivor today of the men who worked on the car for Mr. Schulzinger, is still proud that the finished Duesenberg could achieve 140 mph over a measured mile along a straight stretch of road."</em>

Hello,

does anybody know the hammerprice/highest bid on J-528 @Rm auction?

If I got it right, highest bid (no sale?) on J463 @Mecum auction was $550k

J-147, chassis 2168 is being auctioned by Auctions American at the Auburn sale. This car has a memorable place in my history, as it is the 1st Duesenberg I ever drove when it was for sale in 2006. I strongly considered buying J147, but ended up passing on it. Back then it was black and in need of restoration. Now it is silver and apparently has been fully restored. A very handsome car in my humble opinion.

Also I saw a recent ad that J192, the unrestored survivor Katherine Hedburn car is being offered this fall, but I can't find the auction info now.

Hello,

is it correct that J-147 sold for "only" $1.2 million?

The published estimate was $1.5 to $1.75 million
