So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
Possible Model A in Sandusky, OH was created by Chris Summers
My aunt in Boca Raton, FL, called the other day to tell me that her neighbor's father had owned a Duesenberg. (She is a very proud aunt. I think the entire neighborhood knows about me.)
The gentleman was named David W. Broadfoot, son of David S. who owned Sandusky Sand and Gravel in Sandusky, OH. Bobbie (his daughter) reports that the car was purchased in the early 1920s but already sold by 1922 or 1923.
I know that there are many stories where a family member "owned a Duesenberg" and it turns out to have been another car. Can anyone confirm yay/nay on this? Model A's have never been my area.
