Originally had engine #J-500. The two cars switched engines in the early 1950s. Both cars are today owned by the Petersen Museum and I'm not sure if the engines have been switched back or not.

and this one is which? not many Murphy CCs have the step board on the left rear fender. (I suppose both pictures show the same car).
