The reason I think it's a convertible victoria is because of the molding along the top of the doors, which is the type used on Rollstons (a thick molding that narrows in a fountain pen or arrow shape to make a pinstripe along the folding edge of the hood). I have also seen the same molding on Murphy Convertible Sedans and a similar but not identical one on the two Dietrichs, but not on the Murphy Convertible Coupes.

There is also the small visor at the top of the windshield.

Here is the first photo Richard sent, which is an Auburn:

The second is definitely a Duesenberg, but which one? By the molding on the body it looks to me like a Rollston Convertible Victoria. Any other opinions are, as always, welcome.

I've searched my files and i cannot find Frederick Bennett's name listed anywhere for a Rollston Convertible Victoria, although several cars' original owners are not listed.

Okay. Send to StelvioGT @ yahoo.com
Your description is quite vague.
Is it a convertible?
I'm not sure what you mean by "box in the back."

Hello,
The car is a four door Duesenberg, owned by Frederick Bennett, of New York City and Merion Conn., founder of Wheatsworth Crackers, which became Nabisco.

He had a green car, box in the back, I can send two pictures to anyone that may be willing to help.

Thank you, Richard.[/img]
