If you want one of the Hubley Js, there is no reason you can't have one. They are on ebay frequently.

I vividly remember building a "Hubley Metal Model" of a Duesenberg in my early teen years in the 1970's. My mother purchased it at J.C. Penney for my 13th birthday. I don't know what happened to it, but I would love to have one today. I got Ralph Stein's book "The American Automobile" for the same birthday. That still ranks as one of the best birthdays of my life. Best of luck with your project!

I can tell you where the wiring and plumbing go, and most any other dimension you may need.

I know of one, maybe two that used to be there. Unfortunately I think you've missed both by a couple years.

1:18 scale Duesenberg Model was created by Built2Scale
I have started a project of building 1:18 scale Duesenberg models. These metal models were produced by Hubley Corporation in the 1970's and are very nice kits. One has been completed in two-tone blue and for future models I would like to add wiring, lines, and plumbing. I would like to know if there are any Duesenberg's in the state of Oklahoma where I could take close up reference pictures. Can anyone help me to locate the closest Duesenberg to Oklahoma City? Thanks much.
