The Dusenberg model J radiator grille and shell were steel. The shell was pressed and hand worked to shape. I suspect the grille bars were made by the Pines Winterfront people as they provided many automobiles who used the shutter style and components. Several companies have made new ones over the years and may still.

Does anyone know how the Duesenberg radiator shell and grill were formed and what material was used? Thanks.
