OK Tim,
LOL, you are right about the canopy not being safe, but there were no bunkers available. As it turned out, it was safe enough....

Bob, Thanks for identifying the lumber machine and telling us how it works. It was one of those machines you don't run across every day.

Crossing the bridge over Mississippi

I love seeing cars propped up on a signpost, so whenever we see one, we try to get a picture.
The next pieces of equipment were a real mystery to us, so we had to stop and ask. They are used to aerate catfish ponds. They used these contraptions to force air into the ponds. Some hook to the PTO of their farm tractors and others had a motor on a float with this aerator and that was placed in the pond. Fingerlings are trucked to the ponds in oxygenated tanks. There were large bins that contained fish food and they used blowers to blow the food out on the surface of the water to feed the fish. Fish are ready to be harvested when they weigh 1.5 pounds. They harvest about 100,000 pounds of catfish from each pond. They use nets to catch the catfish and take them to market in oxygenated semi trailers.
The last picture is the bridge across the Mississippi.
Tonight, we are past the storms in Camden, Arkansas.
