When you get to San Francisco you could come north on US 101 and tour through the Redwoods forest by way of the Avenue of the Giants (US 254). We live in Eureka and would sure be please to get together with you. You could then continue north on US 101 along the Oregon coast which is also beautiful or talk US 299 over to Interstate 5.

This is our plan so far...the trip to California is firm, but the trip home has been changed at least 6 times. We have decided to wait til we get to California before we decide which way we are going home. Mike doesn't like anti-freeze and is concerned about traveling up in the mountains this time of year. There is also a flexible plan for our travel between St. Louis and Broken Arrow, OK. But here is what I have:

We are leaving Thursday April 9. We will be leaving the museum about 1:30 in the afternoon. Our hotel the first night is at Kokomo, IN.

Friday, April 10, Kokomo to Lebanon, IL

Saturday, Lebanon, IL to O'Fallon / St Louis, MO

Sunday - Car show in St Louis ...leave around noon. going either to Rolla, MO and across to Broken Arrow,or West to Jefferson City then south through the Ozarks and over to Broken Arrow, or west to Kansas City, then south. Guess that we will decide Saturday.
We plan to arrive at Broken Arrow,OK on Tuesday night.

Wednesday, Mike is going to search for parts at Glenn Pray's.

Thursday we will drive to Oklahoma City for the "Texas" meet.

Friday and Saturday, attending "Texas" meet.

Leaving Sunday - Oklahoma City to Amarillo, Texas

Monday - Amarillo, Texas to Albuquerque, NM

Tuesday - April 21 - Albuquerque, NM to Flagstaff, AZ

Wednesday - Flagstaff, AZ to Prescott, AZ (Dick Teeter)

Thursday - Prescott to Barstow, CA

Friday - April 24 - Barstow, CA to Arroyo Grande, CA

Saturday - Arroyo Grande, CA

Sunday - Arroyo Grande, CA to Monterrey CA( Hearst Castle)

Monday - Monterrey, CA to Capitola, CA (Josh Malks) to Fresno, CA

Tuesday - Fresno to Yosemite NP

Wednesday - Yosemite to Sequoia NP

After that I don't know which route we will end up taking. We talked about cutting across by Las Vegas, Salt Lake city and taking 80 across,
also talked about going to the north side of San Francisco and continuing
north on Hwy 1 cutting across near Reno to Hwy 80, also talked about returning south to route 66, going to Las Vegas, cutting back down at Boulder City and visiting the Grand Canyon and traveling east just south of the Rocky Mountains near Taos, NM. or going further south and taking hwy 10 to El Paso then north on 25. If anyone want to make suggestions we would love to hear from you.

Our daughter lives in Fort Collins, CO. and we are planning to visit her. I am planning for Wednesday May 6.

Thursday, May 7 Fort Collins, CO to Cambridge, NE

May 8, Cambridge, NE to Osceola, IO

May 9, Osceola, IO to Burlington, IO

May 10, Burlington, IO to Kankakee, IL

May 11, Kankakee, IL to Warsaw IN to Auburn, IN

May 12 HOME - MICHIGAN
