Yep, it was a cool/fun time. Even rained on us near the Spencerville Bridge. I will add that the L-29 did put some heat out near my feet, just wish it was near my nose. And if you look closely, you can still see the tire tracks from the L-29 in my front yard.

That is what they were built for.

The "Teacher" spoke and I listened. I put more miles on the 66 Galaxie this year than I've put on it in the past *cough* years. Tho... the last few years there were some mechanical problems (with the car, not I... )

Thanks Ken! And the "un-official ACD tow truck thanks you too!"

OK I'm a wuss, I only drove the AMX about 1,500 miles this year. But with premium as high as $4.12/gal I was a little more selective this summer. I basically skipped the weekly cruise-ins, why spend $30 for gas and food just to hang out with a bunch of new Vettes and Mustangs.

I'm a bigger wuss then... when I said I put more miles on the car than in a bunch of years.... it was like 500 miles this year. I never put that many miles on the galaxie in a summer.

I'd say about 498 out of 500

WAIT... I got my subtration numbers reversed.

About 2 out of the 500

Sorry Ken! It was an honor to tow the L-29. I've seen a picture of a 66 Galaxie towing a 66 Mustang before, but if I had my choice - it would definately be the L-29.
