The photo also shows a banged up KO already in 1930.

To correspond with Original tire information in the 810/812 section, here is a useful set of informative documentation of Original tires for L-29 Cord.
The car is a new car (dealer's license) in Chicago, with 1930 license plates.
Information from the group of detail photos show the tires to be Good Year, Balloon, all weather, heavy duty, 700-18 tires. Whitewall sides on both sides of tires. The stamp on the white on white part of the tire contains the "1930" date in the number system. The detail photos show the car, the dated license plate, the inner side of right front tire, the side mount tire, and the outer part of left front tire. and the white-on-white production stamp, as well as the Heavy Duty Balloon marking.
