You may be more right than you know. I have been searching for a good open L29 for a client and this car was presented to me as a matching numbers, 100% original car. So I posted just the engine to get your feedback and I also got the input of a man I can only refer to as Mr. L29. He told me the right questions to ask the seller and lo and behold the seller informed me today that the car is no longer available. We must have hit a nerve. I don't think it is my place to call the car out - hope the next potential buyer has a group of knowledgeable guys to turn to so they don't make a huge mistake.

Thanks for the input so far. The owner told me he drove the car from San Diego CA to Utah 15 years ago at 70 miles per hour. That must have been some sight to behold.

Please note a carb. in the original position as well with linkage from it to the upper two making it have three carbs. One carb gets 12 to 13 MPG. What do you think three will do. To say it is overcarbed, would be a understatement.
CORDially Mike
