I don't live near anyone with a Cord to compare interiors and can't find a photo explicit enough. So what is the correct windlace around the doors, please?

What is the proper door windlace for our Cords? The interior of my car was redone at some point with leatherette upholstery. Around the doors is a folded (flat) leatherette type material which looks to be glued , albeit not well, around.
the opening. It doesn't do much to seal around the door. The windlace I'm familiar with is round rubber or foam wrapped in fabric. So which is correct, please?
