The original Auto-Lite coils are not known for "working" - if you have an original coil you may want to talk with www.mykmlifestyle.com about having it rebuilt.

Best I can tell you our coil is an automated and the mount is part of the body. Last I knew of Stan had a few original ones. Josh Malks suggested we not use them for daily drivers because the leaked. But ok for judging. Nothing I posted is said in stone. I'm far from an expert. I will be watching this too.

I was wondering if anyone could provide details/a picture on what a correct or acceptable coil cover or top (I'm not entirely certain of the nomenclature) would look like. This is one arena where there seems to be a huge amount of variation. Should there be certain text visible? A brand name perhaps?
